Oxford/ Webster/ Southbridge Partners with Parents

Five Program Objectives

  • Increase accessibility to high quality early education and care program and services for families with children prenatal through school age.
  • Promote family education, engagement, and literacy.
  • Facilitate collaboration and community planning between early education and care partners and other community stakeholders or partners.
  • Provide support and information to families with children transitioning between and among early education and care settings, home, and school.
  • Support early education and care programs across the public and private sectors in delivering high-quality services.

Funding

Partners with Parents (Coordinated Family & Community Engagement) is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Worcester Community Action Council, Inc. (WCAC) is the lead agency for Webster and Southbridge. The Oxford Public Schools is the lead agency for Oxford.



Council Meetings

Oxford/ Webster/ Southbridge Partners with Parents Council meetings are held at the Woodward School, 670 Main Street, No. Oxford, MA on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM, unless otherwise stated. Meetings are posted at the Oxford Town Hall and on the Oxford Access Channel. All meetings are open to the public.

 

Members of the Council reflect the diversity of the business community, public and private early childhood programs, parents, town officials, and representatives of health care, religious, and social service communities.
