A paid, no-cost training program from WCAC combining hands-on instruction with real work experience in weatherization and energy efficiency.

What You Get

    • Weekly stipend during training (20 hrs/week)
    • Paid work-based learning with local employers (25 hrs/week)
    • Industry certifications: Lead Renovator (RRP), OSHA 10, Confined Space
    • Case management, financial coaching, and a year of support after you complete the program

Who Can Apply

    • Ages 18–24
    • Access to reliable transportation
    • Ready to commit full-time for 20 weeks
    • CORI/background check required — reach out if this feels like a barrier

Especially encouraged to apply: low-income/out-of-school youth, justice-involved young people, bilingual/BIPOC applicants, young women, recent vocational grads and community college students without a defined path.
